Back to Pen and Paper: The Bullet Journal system for organization and planning
If you love to journal, draw, organize, or plan, the BulletJournal system is for all skills levels and occupations. A BulletJournal can be a planner, journal, sketchbook, project planner, and tracker all in one. The beauty of the BulletJournal system is you can personalize it for your life and needs. The beauty of the BulletJournal system is how personalizable it is for what you want and what you need. Many ‘teacher planners’ aren’t always accommodating to strange block schedules, rotating meetings, or the long list of things to do as an educator. And not all educators want everything in life to be on Google Calendar. As a teacher, I found myself using a weekly planner, a stack of post its, a different notebook for lesson planning, and I would lose half of it switching between classrooms and going back and forth from home to school. I tried using a digital system but felt limited with what was available. And then I found the BulletJournal system and significantly improved both my workflow and mental health. In this presentation and practice time, I’m here to share with you why you should consider an alternative planner and practice what works for you and your life.
